Frequently Asked Questions
Why another quilt show?
The Everett Quilt Show (EQS) was begun by a group of women with a vision to provide a unique quilt immersion experience in the Pacific Northwest. We love quilting and want to honor and celebrate the art of quilting and the people who create these works. Everett has a lovely venue at the Event Center and the beauty of the facility fit our vision.
Who are you people?
We are regular people, who love to make quilts and want to connect and share with other like minded people.
Where can I park?
Our Parking/Shuttle page explains the parking possibilities and the free Shuttle will be running between parking lots and the Conference Center.
Why can't I use pins to put on a sleeve?
Straight pins poke people. Safety pins are not an efficient or effective way to adhere a hanging sleeve. They do not always offer the best support for the quilt. Please see instructions on this page for ways to attach a hanging sleeve with a pleat that will allow your quilt to hang flat on a rod.
How can I figure out all my options for attending EQS?
We have created a Concierge position for you to consult when you have questions about hotels, events and tours. Please email Vicki with questions.
Why doesn't EQS have food available during the show?
Due to the Conference Center policies, we are unable to provide food during our show hours. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the Conf. Center for you to enjoy. Directly across the street are Pizza, Mexican, Thai, among others.
How can I become a teacher or vendor at EQS?
Teachers and Vendors are selected for 2019. Visit the Teacher App page for information and application for 2020. It's not to early to apply!
2020 Vendor application will be available August 2019 on this site.
